I don't have the Retrospective, but I love Natalie Merchant. The 10,000 Maniacs Unplugged CD was one of the soundtracks of my life around 1994 or so...

Won't be buying the Retrospective since it features nothing new. I have all of her solo albums. "Motherland" is the strongest of the lot, in my opinion, but "Tigerlily" is an outstanding album as well...
